German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) Dog

Hunter(Adoption Pending) the Dog needs a home

If you're interested in adopting any SGSR dog, please read about our Adoption Process and fill out an Adoption Application. Visit our website for more information, including Frequently Asked Questions

Hunter is a two year old neutered male german shepherd. Hunter did not have the best start off in his young life and came into our program from living outdoors on a chain with no shelter. (He is the father of Edy's puppies) Hunter has started his journey of becoming socialized and just learning to become a every day spoiled house dog. When Hunter was first evaluated he was considered dog aggressive but little did we know he actually LOVES dogs and he didn’t understand how to interact with them. Hunter is crate trained (No accidents), house trained on a schedule, and learning basic obedience. This handsome fella is a social butterfly and loves every person he meets! Hunter needs a active home and would love to be your hiking buddy today! If you are interested in Hunter please fill out an app or contact your coordinator. You must live in NC, VA, or MD. Hunter is being fostered in the Winston Salem area.

Our adoption process consists of a telephone interview, a call to your veterinarian and a home visit. If you have any questions about the adoption process please contact
